Just finished Steve Jobs. The chapter on the original Mac team rewired how I think about ambition: small team, impossible deadline, no excuses.

More in every corner.

The small things that come free with it.

  • A new book every week

We pick a book for you from your library and reading habits, and tell you when it lands.

  • Bring your Goodreads

Paste your public profile link or upload a CSV export, and your shelves come across in one go.

  • Scan any barcode

Point your camera at a barcode and the book is on your shelf a couple of seconds later.

  • Half-star ratings

Rate from half a star to five, so a 3.5 stays a 3.5 instead of being rounded.

  • Start and finish dates

Pick Today, Yesterday or any date. Can't remember? Skip it and nothing gets made up.

  • Streaks and a yearly goal

Keep a reading streak alive and set how many books you want to finish this year.

  • Highlights that stay put

Notes and highlights stay on the chapter they came from, so they still make sense a year later.

  • Read it right here

Add a PDF of a book you own and read it in the app. The file stays on your phone.

  • A profile worth following

Your handle, your shelves, and everything you have posted, in one place readers can follow.

And many more…

Questions readers ask first

Is Readlink free?

Yes. Tracking your library and your reading, seeing your stats, discovering books, and posting in the feed are all free. Premium is an optional subscription you can start inside the app. It adds AI answers drawn from the books you have actually read, and advanced stats like your reading pace and year-over-year comparison.

Can I bring my Goodreads library across?

Yes. Point Readlink at your public Goodreads profile link, or upload a Goodreads CSV export, and it pulls your shelves across in one go rather than making you re-add books by hand.

Is Readlink only for non-fiction?

It is built for non-fiction readers, so recommendations, shelf matching, and discussion are all tuned for it. You can still shelve anything you like, fiction included.

Who can see my library and my notes?

Notes you mark as private stay private to you, and so does your wishlist: only you can see the books you want to buy. Your library only gets a public page once you turn sharing on, which gives you a link you can switch off again at any time.

Do I need the app, or is there a web version?

Readlink is an iPhone and Android app, and that is where you create your account. Shared libraries and individual posts open in any browser, so you can send someone a link without asking them to install anything first.

Books stored human knowledge. The printing press spread it. Readlink connects it.
