FAQ

Questions readers ask first

Is Readlink free?

Yes. Tracking your library, discovering books, and posting in the feed are all free. Premium is an optional subscription you can start inside the app, and it adds AI answers drawn from the books you have actually read.

Can I bring my Goodreads library across?

Yes. Point Readlink at your public Goodreads profile link, or upload a Goodreads CSV export, and it pulls your shelves across in one go rather than making you re-add books by hand.

Is Readlink only for non-fiction?

It is built for non-fiction readers, so recommendations, shelf matching, and discussion are all tuned for it. You can still shelve anything you like, fiction included.

Who can see my library and my notes?

Notes you mark as private stay private to you. Your library only gets a public page once you turn sharing on, which gives you a link you can switch off again at any time.

Do I need the app, or is there a web version?

Readlink is an iPhone and Android app, and that is where you create your account. Shared libraries and individual posts open in any browser, so you can send someone a link without asking them to install anything first.
